Making Telemedicine Accessible to All!
COVID 19 pandemic while traumatizing the nation, also gave a boom to
telemedicine services, now people want to get a doctor’s consultation at home,
and this service has trickled down in rural India as well. E-Sanjeeveni is one such
government initiative to make teleconsultation accessible. TRIF along with
technical partner INTELEHEALTH extended support to NHM Jharkhand in this
process in 24 districts where we started tele- medicine to bring medical
consultation to those areas where there is no doctor to cover a total of 1640 HWC
and provided training to 954 Chief Health Officers (CHO). Hospitals like AIIMS,
RIMS, and JSACS for ART Centers are providing regular consultations through 90
specialist doctors and 210 general physicians.
