The Catalysts

While it is not possible for India to construct all infrastructure from scratch, the country has the
advantage of using advanced construction chemicals to address manyof these challenges:

Concrete admixtures, Fast and high quality
adhesives, sealantsand construction of infrastructure
technical mortarsimprove projects such as roads, bridges,
the strength and durability power, ports and highwaysis
of high rise buildings made possible by chemistry

Pigments, resins and additives Widely used as bonding agents,
are used for enhancing tile adhesives, expansion and
corrosion resistance crack joint fillers and plasticizers,
chemicals increase life of a building
and provide protection against
environmental hazards
