Waste
At Balmer Lawrie generated waste is managed effectively
through systematic handling, treatment and disposal.
Sound waste management practices are followed to
minimize waste generation. The Company has effective
mechanisms in place for waste collection, storage and
disposal at all operational sites. It proactively monitors
and measures waste generation.
Various types of hazardous waste and non-hazardous
waste including biodegradable and non-biodegradable
and bio-medical waste are generated from sites which are
managed as per statutory norms.
