The Indian Agriculture and Food Systems - Circularity Action Platform
              (IAFS – CAP)

The Indian Agriculture and Food Systems – Circularity Action Platform (IAFS – CAP) was
launched in February 2021 by Intellecap and Transforming Rural India Foundation to promote
the uptake of circular approaches in agriculture and food systems in India. The platform seeks
to achieve three key developmental outcomes: a) improve and diversify incomes of smallholder
farmers, (b) reduce the environmental footprint of agriculture and food systems in India, and c)
improve resilience of agriculture and agricultural incomes to climate change. To achieve these,
some of the tangible outputs envisaged are (a) awareness creation on circular agriculture (b)
providing end-to-end support to demand side stakeholders (c) scaling circular technologies
through Search-seed-support (d) promoting circular approach through financing (e) stimulating
              dialogue and collaboration.
