India is amongst the fastest growing economies in the world today and is
expected to remain one of the best performing economies going forward.
To continue the growth momentum while ensuring equitable growth, the
Government of India has launched several initiatives in the mission mode.
Multiple sectoral initiatives have also been designed to accelerate growth
and investment.
The Government’s focus on the Chemical Sector as a key contributor to the
Make in India initiative is very encouraging. CII works closely with the
Government in the area of policy advocacy to shape the regulatory
environment and in taking forward specific initiatives on the ground. To
bridge the knowledge gap, the Chemistry Everywhere Campaign was
launched by CII two years ago to bring together experts from Government,
industry and academia.

“Chemistry Everywhere: In Pursuit of Sustainable Development” is a step
forward in the Chemistry Everywhere Campaign towards engaging with a
large number of stakeholders for the growth of the Chemical sector.
CII would continue to partner with all stakeholders to accelerate India’s
economic growth and development.
