Business ethics enhances the law by
outlining acceptable behaviors beyond
government control. Corporations
establish business ethics to promote
integrity among their employees and
gain trust from key stakeholders, such as
investors and consumers.
A code of conduct is essential in a
workplace because it gives employees a
definitive guide on how they should work
and act while performing their job. Some
companies expect their employees to
follow a code with many requirements,
while others keep it simple.
Sustainability & ESG awareness is
increasing, and many companies now
want their workforce to be aware about
the sustainability domain and ESG. It
involves getting the workforce familiar
with ESG terms, indicators, matrices,
frameworks and disclosures.

(BRR) and the move is expected to bring in
Business Responsibility and
Sustainability Reporting
(BRSR)
We are at a key moment in the evolution of
sustainability, where transparency is fast
becoming the new paradigm for conducting
business. BRSR is an ESG Disclosure that
encompasses corporate strategy, risk
management, broad oversight, performance
and communication, of companies and also
helps to address reputational and regulatory
risk. The underlying intent of this disclosure
can be said to be seamless alignment of the
various regulatory frameworks with the
long-term objectives and sustainability goals
of the company, which are key requisites for
the decision-making process of various
stakeholders.
BRSR covers the Environmental, Social and
Key learnings Governance (ESG) and
Sustainability aspects. It will replace the
existing Business Responsibility Report
greater transparency and enable market
participants to identify and assess
sustainability-related risks and opportunities.
CII & UNDP Certified Training
Programme on Building
Resilience to Climate Change
and Biodiversity Loss
This training programme jointly organised by
CII & UNDP provides the opportunity to
enhance awareness and build capacity on
the various aspects of biodiversity, climate
change and energy. It includes hands-on
training on tools for mapping, self-assessing
and developing appropriate action plan for
avoidance, mitigation, and risk
management. Also, will help in developing a
road map for site-specific operations,
sustainable management, and incorporation
of nature's value into decision-making.
